Cider Tasting - Emmaus Orchard Cider

Join us at the cidery to taste our first Emmaus Orchard cider vintage. This cider is made with 2022 fruit from Emmaus Orchard in Ashe County, NC. Jim and Chris DeJuneas (and family) planted the cider orchard several years ago, and we’re lucky enough to receive some of their fruit to make this cider. Jim and Chris will share their experience growing apples in the NC mountains, and we’ll talk about the unique aspects of their terroir in cider. We’ll also sample the 2023 vintage to see how things are coming along.
